Privacy Policy
Whisker Blocks™ - updated October 3, 2026
This policy explains how Whisker Blocks™ handles information. The game is developed and published by Bhavya Mittal.
Information handled by the game
The game does not create a separate developer account. Android players may use their existing Google Play Games profile for optional cloud saving.
Game progress, settings, daily tasks, and earned items are stored locally on the player's device. When Google Play Games cloud saving is active, this progress is also sent securely to Google's Saved Games service so it can be restored on another installation.
Google Play Games cloud saving
Google Play Games Services may process a Play Games player identifier, sign-in status, gameplay progress, and cloud-save metadata. The developer does not receive the player's Google password. Cloud saving is used only to save, restore, and reconcile Whisker Blocks progress.
If Play Games is unavailable, sign-in is cancelled, or the device is offline, gameplay continues with the local save. Google's handling of Play Games information is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics
Whisker Blocks uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand broad gameplay usage and app reliability. Analytics events cover game starts and endings, screen visits, Cafe visits, completed line clears, cat unlocks, completed daily tasks, completed rewarded ads, cloud-save outcomes, and graphics-mode changes.
Game-ending analytics may include score, play duration, total blocks placed, total lines cleared, and the active graphics mode. The game does not add names, email addresses, Play Games player identifiers, cloud-save contents, or free-form player text to analytics events. Firebase may process app interactions, approximate device information, and device or app-instance identifiers under Google's policies. Data is encrypted in transit.
Advertising
Advertising differs by installed version. The following older-version section describes the existing 0.32.x app. The Unity update (0.36.0) uses the adult-only policy below when that update becomes available; this page does not mean it has already been released.
Existing 0.32.x versions — AppLovin MAX
Whisker Blocks™ uses AppLovin MAX for one banner on the tray-full screen and to offer optional rewarded videos. A player may continue without watching a rewarded ad.
AppLovin and advertising partners may process device and app details, IP address, advertising or app identifiers when available, network and locale information, diagnostics, and interactions with ads. This information may be used to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services. Data transmitted by the SDK is protected in transit.
Before AppLovin MAX initializes, the Android app asks the player to choose personalised ads, limited ads, or to continue without advertising. The same conservative choice is shown in the EEA, UK, and other regions because the game does not contact an advertising SDK to determine location before a choice exists. Personalised ads set AppLovin's user-consent signal. Limited ads set consent to false and the do-not-sell/share signal to true. Choosing no advertising on first use prevents MAX from initializing. If advertising is disabled later in the same session, the game removes its ad objects and stops requesting further ads; MAX remains disabled on later starts.
Only players who are old enough to use advertising services under the laws where they live should select an advertising option. Other players can continue without advertising. The Android Advertising ID may be used only when it is available and the player has allowed advertising. The Ad privacy choices control in Settings can be used to review or change the saved choice. For more information about AppLovin's collection and use of information, visit AppLovin's Privacy Policy.
Unity update (0.36.0) — Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads
In the Unity update, Unity LevelPlay replaces MAX, with Unity Ads as the only enabled ad network. Only players who declare they are 18 or older and affirmatively allow the required data use can receive ads. Under-18 and unknown-age players can keep playing without ads. One banner may appear at game over; reward videos remain optional. There are no interstitials and no personalized ads.
The app requires an adult's data-use consent in all regions before starting advertising SDKs or requesting ads. Settings > Privacy & ads separates the ad-support notice from that consent: continuing past the notice does not grant permission. A self-declared age band, notice acknowledgement, consent, timestamp and policy revision are stored locally outside the game save. No full birth date is requested. This is not identity verification or parental consent. Older advertising choices do not authorize this new provider or adult-only policy.
Non-personalized ads still use device storage and data. Unity and its advertising partners may process device and app information, IP address and approximate location inferred from it, permitted identifiers, diagnostics and ad interactions for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-behavioral and do-not-sell/share signals are sent to the supported SDKs. Unity demand may include third-party buyers, but this update includes no AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google UMP or Google ad-network integration. Firebase and Play Games remain separate services.
Unity Ads also lists personal identifiers and purchase-history information among its SDK data categories. The game's virtual-currency shop does not collect payment-card or bank-account details. Unity's data is used for advertising measurement, analytics and app functionality as described in its provider disclosures.
You may withdraw consent in Settings > Privacy & ads. The app removes its ad objects and stops further ad requests; this does not erase information already transmitted. Gameplay progress is unaffected. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy for provider data categories, retention, recipients, international transfers and privacy-rights procedures. You can contact the developer below about this app's handling of your information.
Development builds do not enable revenue ads. Authorized testing uses a registered device and time-limited session under dashboard test settings. The test gate compares a locally hashed Advertising ID with the registered device. Known testing installations remain excluded from production ads after an ordinary in-place update.
Permissions and internet access
The Android app uses internet access for Firebase Analytics, game-over banners, optional rewarded ads, privacy links, Play Games sign-in and cloud saving. The applicable advertising SDK may access the Android Advertising ID when available and permitted. The Unity update does not initialize advertising for under-18, unknown-age or non-consenting players. Gameplay saves are not sent to a developer-operated server or included in analytics events.
Retention and deletion
The developer does not retain gameplay saves on a developer-operated server. Firebase Analytics event data is retained under the Firebase project's configured Google Analytics retention controls. Players can replace their cloud progress with a reset local save, manage Play Games data through their Google account, or delete local information with Reset Progress, Android Clear Storage, or uninstall. Google's retention practices are governed by Google's policies.
Age audience
The app is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. In the Unity update, monetization is further restricted to consenting players aged 18 or older; younger and unknown-age players receive no ads. If a future release changes this policy, its age handling, advertising configuration and Play declarations will be reviewed before release.
Changes
This policy will be updated before any release that changes how data is handled. The effective date above identifies the current version.
